The contents of the individual sections in this document reflect the sequence in which they were received or extracted, i.e. some are ordered by date, others by forename. Some list the surname first, others the forename. It should be noted that where no surname is written, that SANKEY is implied. The sources and dates have been included, where these are known.

Primary sources, as referred to in this document, are physical documents that exist somewhere, and may be verified against the data presented here. Secondary sources, such as index extracts, refer to a primary source, which should be implicit, i.e. an index of pre 1837 marriages refers to the Parish Registers of the placename specified.
